Coordinate the assessment, planning, and evaluation of all public health, human services, and preparedness activities, including statistical analysis, report development, and information gathering activities in order to improve the health and well-being of the citizens of Columbia and Boone County.

•Plan, design, and execute assigned studies and research projects; compile and catalog documentation and prepare reports relating to public health and human services issues.

•Assist in internal process evaluation and improvement. Coordinate accreditation work groups to achieve plans of action and complete other accreditation goals.

•Perform department strategic planning. Provide guidance to staff for continuous quality improvement processes and work with staff to achieve performance management goals.

•Collaborate with multiple community partners to maintain and improve local public health emergency preparedness plans. Develop and implement systems to train and exercise staff and partners for emergency response.

•Integrate with Public Health and Human Services personnel to identify, develop, implement, monitor, analyze, and evaluate programs, best practices, and funding opportunities.

•Work closely with partners to create presentations to facilitate identification of public health needs, gaps, and best practices.

•Facilitate and provide expertise for departmental grant and survey development.
Ancillary Job Functions    
•Serve as liaison to external agencies and participate in designated conferences, seminars, and other meetings.

•Research evidence-based practices and report findings to management team and department directors.
